The Award Winning Hiking Destination In The Skurweberge, Mpumalanga.

The breathtaking Wathaba Hiking Trails is situated 20.8 km from Machadodorp en route to Badplaas, a mere two to three hours from Pretoria and Johannesburg.

This hiking destination in Mpumalanga offers all hikers and nature lovers a piece of heaven, with its tranquility and beautiful surroundings.

5 Waterfalls, amazing streams and bridges to cross. This trail is truly magical.

Kiepersolkamp - A comfortable camp, situated alongside the Schoonspruit stream that sleeps 19 people in 3 rooms (5-5-9). The kitchen has a nice big table to sit around with ample working tops and a steel cabinet for food.

The ablution has clean and spacious bathrooms/toilets/showers and a unique zinc tub (don’t forget the bubble bath).

Arrive from 3pm on Friday afternoon. No arrivals after 6pm. Depart Sunday 11am. Basecamp hike no heavy backpack needed. Only your daypack. Sleep every night at the stunning Kiepersol camp.

Saturday : 10km / Moderate / Difficult

Sunday : 4km / Easy

Cost : R 2 600-00pp

Optional Transport : R1400pp from Gauteng - Only 12 spots for transport.
